Squash Casserole
3 c. sliced squash
1/2 c. d
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp grated onion
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs for topping
1/2 c. melted margarine
1 to 2 tsp melted margarine for topping
2 beaten eggs
salt and pepper
1 c. cream of mushroom soup 10 3/4oz
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Cook squash in a small amount of water until tender.
Mash. Add all ingredients except toppings.
Mix well & pour into greased baking dish.
Combine 1/4 c. crumbs and melted margarine and sprinkle on top.
Bake at 425 for 20 minutes.
