Taco Casserole Empty Taco Casserole

1 lb. ground beef
4 green onions, sliced
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 c. pinto beans
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 (8oz) bag plain tortilla chips, taco sauce, sour cream

In a large skillet brown beef, drain.
Add onion, garlic, tomato sauce, mushrooms, and taco seasonings. Simmer 15 min.
Mash beans with their liquid and add to meat mixture.
Layer tortilla chips, meat mixture and cheese in a 2 quart casserole dish,
Ending the layers with cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
